Emulsion Polymer Encapsulator DS301
DS301
DS301 is an anionic emulsion polymer encapsulator produced by inverse emulsion polymerization of acrylamide, potassium acrylate (KAA) and a cationic monomer. It adsorbs firmly onto cuttings to form a protective film that inhibits shale hydration and dispersion, with field-proven hole enlargement rates as low as 6.5%-8.8% in sloughing formations.
APPLICATIONS
Application scenarios
- 01Cuttings encapsulation and shale inhibition in water-based muds
- 02Saltwater and saturated saltwater systems, including Ca/Mg-contaminated brines
- 03High-temperature wells up to 120 °C
